Bollywood Festival at Slaterfield Community Centre: A Spectacular Cultural Affair Made Possible by the National Lottery Community Fund

Proudly organized by Community Film Art & Media CIC in collaboration with Asian Elders, the festival was made possible by the generous support of the National Lottery Community Fund.

This joyous gathering, attended by over 80 residents, unfolded as a tapestry of creativity and camaraderie. From lively art and craft workshops to engaging rounds of Bollywood bingo, the atmosphere was electric with the beats of traditional songs and dance. Laughter echoed, conversations flowed, and new friendships blossomed, embodying the spirit of community unity.

The tireless efforts of Community Film Art & Media’s organizers, including Gulnaz, Shabeen, Chan, Indira, and a dedicated team of volunteers, ensured the event’s success. Their passion for community engagement transformed the festival into a memorable experience, leaving smiles on faces and fostering connections among attendees.
