Businesswoman donates cash to help women realise to SheInspires Award

A BOLTON businesswoman has donated a £1,000 prize to help boost the plans of women in the UK and around the world. Jackie Hyde, Managing Director of Stanmore Insurance based in Little Lever, put forward the cash prize as part of the SheInspires Awards. These annual awards, which began in Bolton seven years ago, went national last year and global this year for the first time. Still time to submit nominations for She Inspires Awards

BOLTON-based awards which annually highlight inspirational women are already proving a worldwide hit this year. Nominations for the She Inspires Awards have attracted nominations from countries including Kenya, Nepal, Malaysia, America and Sri Lanka as well as from across the UK. In fact, there are already 1,188 nominations in so far. Students gain qualifications during lockdown

STUDENTS who picked up new skills during lockdown were congratulated by the Mayor of Bolton Cllr Linda Thomas. For despite all the hardships posed by the pandemic, Bolton based Community Film Art & Media CIC reached out to the most hard to contact students to engage them in courses via online platform Zoom. They took part in live and recorded cooking sessions.
