Zara’s World Challenge Expedition to Nepal

[et_pb_section admin_label="section"] [et_pb_row admin_label="row"] [et_pb_column type="4_4"][et_pb_text admin_label="Text"] When I first heard about the World Challenge expedition to Nepal in Summer 2024, I knew I had to be part of it. The idea of exploring a new culture and contributing to meaningful work immediately appealed to me, so I committed to raising the necessary funds. I worked tirelessly, offering household help to neighbors and relatives, organizing a bake sale at my dad’s office, selling unwanted clothes, and even sacrificing my birthday funds. The support I received from everyone around me made it possible for me to embark on this life-changing journey. Screenshot As the summer approached, our group prepared for the adventure ahead. After getting our immunizati...

Ridding Yourself of Tall Poppy Syndrome – Why You Should Be Nominating Yourself for An Award

The advantages of being nominated for an award are obvious – the recognition for your work, the kudos, the PR opportunities, perhaps a little extra finance to undertake a project… so why then does it feel so awkward when it comes to nominating yourself for an award? It’s an issue I’ve been discussing lately with a couple of clients. Both women in executive leadership roles. Confident, accomplished women, women who have worked extremely hard and deserve to be recognised for their huge steps in self-development and business triumphs.
