The Orange Hub – Let’s Talk Money” finalist in awards

A financial initiative by a group of Bolton businesswomen is in line for a national award. “The Orange Hub – Let’s Talk Money” was created by the group as an offshoot of the SheInspires Awards. Now, it has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Aviva Community Fund awards to be announced on October 17. Orange champions were appointed by SheInspires to support the United Nations Secretary General’s “Orange the World” campaign to stop violence against women and young girls and to promote their independence. We Are Orange

What we do We work with domestic abuse charities to identify women who need work to become independent. In some instances, the charity may well have prepared them with their own ‘job ready’ training. The charity will provide us with a CV for each candidate that will have an anonymised name at the outset, with no address or contact details. This is to minimise the number of organisations who know the identity of individuals in our programme.
