The New Year is here—a fresh start, a blank canvas, and 365 opportunities to create a brighter, healthier future for our communities. At SheInspires, we’re stepping into 2025 with an unwavering commitment to transforming lives through health, empowerment, and connection.
This January, we’re proud to launch HealthConnect, a groundbreaking initiative in partnership with Kildonan House Surgery and funded by NHS England. These four events aren’t just about health checks and flu jabs—they’re about breaking barriers, building trust, and bringing healthcare to where it’s needed most.
At our first Health Connected event, the stories were powerful. Women shared how work, time, and cultural hurdles had kept them from vital health services like smear tests for over a decade. But something extraordinary happened: conversations started, fears eased, and lives began to change. Together, over a hot meal and shared stories, we saw what’s possible when healthcare meets community.
This week, we continue this journey at Bolton College, opening doors to more conversations, more connections, and more lives touched. From flu jabs to COVID vaccines to simply being heard—HealthConnect is about more than medicine. It’s about people.
