Exploring Bharatanatyam for beginners, a joyful way to be fit.

This Saturday saw the launch of Beginners Bharatnatyam sessions by Dr Swati Raut.
Bharatanatyam is one of the most popular and widely performed dance styles and is practiced by male and female dancers all over the world. It is the oldest dance form originating from India. This graceful dance is very technical in its nature with its precise movements and hand gestures and complex footwork.
Bharatanatyam has many health benefits in its practice as some of the movements originated from the ancient art of Yoga. Through regular practice the dance rewards you with a body of Stamina, Strength, Agility, Flexibility, Grace and Posture.
