As part of our #Impact100 campain, 2019’s Women in Education & Woman of the Year winner, Dr Trish Houghton hosted a symposium in September 2019 working with the Endeavour Charity on Domestic Abuse Awareness.
The event was hosted at Bolton University and was proved so popular that it ‘sold out’ within 48 hours! The symposium covering topics such as the Dos & Don’ts, What you can do to assist someone going through domestic abuse, how to properly support someone going through domestic abuse & directing them to organisations which deal with domaestic abuse on an expert level, and also sharing some survivor’s stories.
