We are delighted and honoured to have Lady Kishwar Desai as our Ambassador. Lady Kishwar Desai, is an author, playwright and a columnist. She started her career as a print journalist and worked as a political reporter, moving on to television and broadcast media after a while, where she worked for over two decades. Her first novel, Witness the Night, won the Costa Book Award in 2010 for Best First Novel and has been translated into over 25 languages. The support and commitment by our Judges has been exemplary and we cannot thank them enough. Their time and investment in Inspire judging process is greatly appreciated and we couldn't run the Awards without their valuable input. We are amazed at the number of judging panel meetings we have managed to have via zoom so far. As you can imagine, trying to co-ordinate everyone's diaries can be a little tricky, but we could manage it because of our judges’s flexibility and fantastic cooperation.
