A new monthly business networking event and club is launching in Bury to help women from the town and wider Greater Manchester area meet and connect. The Bury Business Club is part of Enterprising Women network of Local Business Clubs. The Bury Business Club will be the first of its kind in Greater Manchester and will be provide women from across the metropolitan area the chance to network with likeminded local businesswomen.
The club has been set up by Bury-based solicitor, Sara Beaumont. Sara works at Woodcocks of Bury, specialising in the field of commercial dispute resolution and also leads the firm’s debt recovery team. She said: ‘I’m looking forward to building a dynamic local club of businesswomen who want to build their relationships, learn from each other, and share knowledge, inspiration and motivation.’ There will also be a special guest speaker at the event in the form of Bev Hurley who is the founder and director of Enterprising Women. As well as her role with Enterprising Women, Bev is one of the UK’s leading authorities on female entrepreneurship and currently Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the YTKO group, a successful private sector business.
