Are you a Bolton woman looking to put your artistic talent into practice and start your own business in the creative industries? Or looking to take your creative business to the next level? Well now could be the time to test your entrepreneurial spirit, thanks to a new creative initiative being held in the town. Bolton Council Arts Development Team
(ADT) and Bolton Business Ventures (BBV) are working in partnership to offer advice on how to start and develop a creative business. The ‘Entrepreneurial Artist – building your creative business’ – are a series of workshops aimed at giving local artists the tools they need to set up their own enterprise. The sessions are FREE and cover a range of topics for starting up your own artistic business from putting a price on your creativity to enhancing your reputation. So if you want to make a living from your talent, have a skill or product you want to sell and have the drive and ambition to build a business and reputation in the creative industries, attend the sessions.
All the workshops will be run by Elizabeth White, an experienced business adviser, author of several business books and an artist herself. She is passionate about helping creative people build a successful business.
